Maude came to us after she was found on someone's windowsill. The finder thought that the feral mother cat would return for her kitten, and put Maude back on the ground where she could wait safely for her mom to come for her. After three hours, with no sign of the mother cat, the good samaritan took Maude inside and started reaching out to local rescues for help. We were contacted by a sister rescue group and asked if we could take in this kitten as they do not accept single kittens into their program, only those with littermates. Maude came to us at 3 weeks old and was bottle raised from that point on.
