Looney Lenny is named after the tv show, 'the garbage pail kids' because he was found in a dumpster by a member of the community. The person was taking out the trash in a shopping center and heard kittens crying. After searching for the source of the sound, a tied up bag of kittens was discovered inside one of the dumpsters. The four kittens inside were hungry and cold but otherwise unharmed. The kittens were 3 weeks old when they came to Starfish and were placed into foster care to be bottle raised. After getting over an upper respiratory infection that caused Lenny's infected eye, they are now ready for homes of their own.
